With the establishment of Charutar Vidya Mandal and Sardar Patel University this small town named "Vallabh Vidyanagar" was founded by Shri Bhaikaka and Shri Bhikhabhai Saheb of Karamsad with the blessings of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, a leader of the Indian Independence movement and the first home minister of India. The foundation stone of the town was laid by Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru on 13 February 1949. The town is also known as V.V. Nagar. Sardar Patel University is listed in Top 50 universities in India. Vallabh Vidyanagar is pride of Gujarat.

It is open to anyone who has either lived, studied and worked in Vallbh Vidyanagar. Our goal is to create a network that enables us to connect and share the Success, Current Issues and its Mitigation Actions, Recognize Great Achievements and Continue to Grow our Legacy called “UNITY”. Together we need to continue to spread that all over the world.
